Icon structure

Our icon system is designed to keep all solutions visually consistent and easy to recognize. As a reference for both style and construction, we use Material Design icons and their guidelines, which help us build icons that are clear, simple, and scalable across different contexts.

To maintain a cohesive icon family, all icons should follow these principles:

  • Outline only → Icons are built with strokes, not fill.
  • Rounded style → Soft curves and rounded outer corners create a more approachable look.
  • Monoline construction → All icons use the same line thickness throughout.
  • Simple shapes → Icons should be kept as simple as possible.
  • Consistent perspective → Use the same visual perspective across the full set.
  • Consistent overlap rules → Apply the same logic when elements overlap inside the icon.
  • Duotone when needed → Two tones or colors can be used to add depth or hierarchy.

This approach helps us create icons that feel familiar, functional, and consistent across product, marketing, and brand applications.

The icons are available in the slides.

If you need an icon that is not included there, you can download it from Google Material Symbols. Please make sure to use Outlined style, Weight 400, Grade 0, and Optical size 24.
